It was an honor to have been invited by New Era University last April 8, 2022. I shared my knowledge and tips with 280 students of the College of Information and Technology on the Process and Flows of an IT Project.

My goal was to give an overview of “How IT projects advance today’s real world.” Being in this business for a while, I realized that students need a headstart and effortless transition when joining an organization—what better way than to show them how we do it in our company?

So today, let me share the full video recording of my webinar session.

I also shared my favorite thing about my work: simplifying complex information. I divided the phases and flows into five levels in my slides. Now keep in mind that it can be as extensive depending on the complexity of an IT project. I shared a rough background of what to look forward to in the actual work environment.

The Key Takeaway from this speaking engagement is the process flow of any project management task is almost the same, and it follows the same format. The style may differ in terms of tools used, the strategy in keeping team communications consistent, and the management style of the project manager.

Understanding the process and flow of an IT Scheme will enable you to know your advantage in project development. Project Managers, IT Leads, and C-Level Executives expect your best foot forward when joining a company.

Most of the attendees are graduating students, and it is deemed daunting for many students who are graduating from ONLINE EDUCATION SYSTEM to adapt to the working environment. Despite the uncertainty of tomorrow, Digital Marketing, Project Management, and Software Development skills are highly-priced these days. I can’t fathom how we can live in this generation without technology. This engagement gave me the leverage to share my insights and experience and showed how it could be very manageable to adapt from online learning to the actual world.

Overall, I truly enjoyed sharing my time because I felt that way when I started work. Confidence is something I learned along the way, and the experiences are my arsenal for learning the complexities of technology. My overall experience was pleasurable, and I hope the students felt the same.
