If you have been using Twitter for Business, you know how tedious it is to use short-form texts to promote your product. Recently, Twitter announced they are testing “NOTES,” a blog post adjacent feature that lets you create more extended pieces of writing to publish on your page!

“As the platform for writers, it’s clear that Twitter is essential — from the proximity to an engaged audience. To the conversation around a writer’s work, to the community of readers (and, often, cheerleaders) that Twitter provides. To the critical role it plays in the livelihoods and careers of writers, on and off Twitter,” Twitter’s editorial director, Rembert Browne, said in a Note on the platform.

People can read Notes on and off Twitter, and you can find all of a person’s Notes in the new tab on that person’s profile.

They are now testing Notes with a small group of writers in the US, Canada, UK, and Ghana, Twitter said. Twitter didn’t indicate when Notes might be public more widely.

In April, Twitter revealed that it’s finally testing an edit button, a long-awaited proposal from anyone who has ever made a typo in a tweet. The platform has also kickstarted Twitter Blue, a paid subscription feature that authorizes subscribers to edit tweets, upload longer videos and read ad-free news.

If your business utilizes Twitter, this is a piece of good news for you. Information like this is essential in tracking how you can improve your business strategies.
